Ashley, the queen of laughing so hard, snapchat and the duck face.  Words can not express how much this girl means to me.  She has been a wonderful cousin to Ryan and I and I am so lucky I married into such a fun family.  Ashley and I only meet about three years ago, when her sister Britney and friend Aubrey came to live with Ryan and I for the summer.  They were all playing for the Nemesis Softball team here in Nebraska and her parents were packing up the house in Idaho to move back home.  I knew when they had asked me to take her senior photos that a softball senior session was going to be very important to them.

Ashley is so laid back and so fun to be around!  I learned a lot from her the past few summers when she stayed with us.  The most important thing was how to let my hair down and have good time.  And also that it is ok to laugh and when you do laugh, laugh loud!!  That is exactly what we did during this softball senior session.  We started out at an old rustic barn that had horses.  She was in heaven!  Horses are her favorite animal and it truly showed because they would not leave her side.  After that we went to the fields to capture a few fun softball photos.  These are some of my favorites!!  Take a look 🙂

The last part of our session was going out to Wagon Train to take a dip in the lake.  She had also come to me showing me a few Pinterest ideas with water.  It was the perfect night for this and Ashley just jumped right in!  I couldn’t ask for a better cousin and friend.  I can’t wait to see where this life takes you.  Just remember to keep that beautiful smile on your face and that laugh in your back pocket 🙂  Good luck with your softball dreams at the University of Sioux Falls.
