This fabulous lady was my first session of the new year!! Avriana celebrated her 12th birthday this January. Usually January in Lincoln, Nebraska is snowy and cold, but we got lucky for her pictures. We found a small space tucked up in the trees to capture a few fun shots, even though the wind was blowing like CRAZY! She has modeled before for me for a few class projects and other family pictures. A few winters ago, we took the afternoon making strawberry cupcakes and then found a few Christmas tress that had some colorful lights on them. She stood so still while I learned what Shutter Drag was. The pictures turned out so fun and of course the cupcakes were great!! She is such a great helper, a fun model and is a natural in front of the camera… take a look 🙂
Avriana is a 6th grader this year. I swear it was just yesterday I was living with them and she was in Kindergarten! She is growing up into a beautiful lady, both inside and out. She loves to spend time hanging out with friends. Her favorite sport is Softball, but also enjoys Basketball. (Watch out for this one in the years to come!) She also loves sketching and reading. I would love to be able to draw as good as this girl. She is so gifted! I can’t wait to see where she will go over the next few years!
