It’s the new year and lots of new things to talk about!

1. December Review

December was starting out to be a slow month for photos, but it turned out to be one of my favorites!  My beautiful friend got married, lots of newborn babies, and even a few beautiful families to capture in time for the holidays!

2. California for Christmas

Part of Ryan’s family lives in California and we are so fortunate to be able to go and visit them each year.  We flew into San Francisco and rented a car.  We first drove up to Sonoma to see Brian and his brother Eric and their family.  Next, we drove down to Atescadero see his aunt Sheri and to take Michael’s senior photos.  After that we drove down to Arroyo Grande to stay with his Aunt Kari where we were greeted by Grandma Teddy and matching PJ’s.  We celebrated Christmas three days and had the best time!  A blog post will be up in the new year!  The only details I am going to tel you is that I learned how to make homemade biscuits!

3. Blogging

As most of you know, I am a bit behind on my blogs from 2017 and 2018.  I am hoping to change this in 2019!  I just finished “stomping” my images to update my website.  I can’t wait to show you all of the changes coming next year, including blogging some amazing people!

4. Kahlua

Ryan and I have been talking about getting another puppy for awhile after learning that Remy has hip dysplasia.  We have been contacting different breeders and found a litter in Kansas that we were interested in.  I have always wanted an English Creme Golden Retriever.  When we had contacted them, all of the puppies were spoken for.  A few days later, they had contacted us saying one of them fell through.  We traveled down to Kansas and instantly fell in love, not only with the puppy but their parents also.  So we made a quick decision and took her home with us!  She is fitting in great with the family.  Remy loves her, if you call dragging her around like a chew toy and playing tug-of-war 24-7 love!  Now on to the good stuff, the photo 🙂

5.  Engaged?!?

Did you just get engaged over Christmas?  If so, Congratulations!  I would love to chat with you about what you are planning for your wedding!  I still have some dates open for 2019 weddings!  Email me at hello@stacykamler.com
