The second day of our honeymoon started very early! We ended up getting up at 4:30am. Since the Royals were playing in the World Series we needed to find some place that had Wifi to watch the game. We found an amazing little coffee shop around the corner from our hotel called The Bean Temple. Seriously, I have never had a cup of coffee this rich and creamy and pretty! Ryan even started drinking caramel lattes! This is the place that we ate breakfast at everyday while in Sydney. Of course, you will see photos below 🙂
You will see from the previous post that after breakfast we went St. Mary’s Cathedral and then made our way to the Royal Botanic Gardens.
We continued walking around Circular Quay and made it to The Sydney Cove Oyster Bar for lunch and had few drinks. The views were great. We could see the big cruise ships dock, the ferries run back and forth and also had the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background. We also had a one-eyed seagull friend join us!
Here are a few photos of me in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and an out of focus selfie in front of the Sydney Opera House.
Ryan and I went on a Whale Watching Cruise with Captain Cook Cruises. It was a bit chilly that day, but was perfect for all of the whales. We were able to see a mother and her baby calf on this trip.
After the whale watch we took a few photos of the skyline at the Harbour and the Opera House. This place is magical at night and it was always busy with people. These are just a few of my favorite photos of this trip.
Once we got back to our Hotel we celebrated Ryan’s birthday by going to The Porterhouse Irish Pub. I have never really eaten at an Irish Pub before, but their food was super good also! I had a Chicken Curry and Ryan had a Guinness Meat Pie. So far this trip has been an adventure that we both have enjoyed.
