A few months ago I had posted about our Pre-Honeymoon adventures to Bristol Motor Speedway. Now I am posting about our Post-Honeymoon Road Trip. Sonoma, California is destination number one. You probably noticed that I have not posted about the actual Honeymoon! Well, I haven’t, yet. I am still working on a few of the images, but have quite a few phone photos of this trip so I thought I would get them up.
Ryan and I had the opportunity to take a few weeks off to Road Trip out to Sonoma, California to see his family for Christmas. We had such a fun time being able to drive wherever we wanted with no timeline to get to any destinations. The first night we drove through Wyoming (the first photos) and stayed the night in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was so much fun driving in the mountains… in the snow… I loved it!
Once we made it to Sonoma, we stayed with his family almost the entire trip and had the best time with all of them. I loved being able to go sightseeing and had the best Christmas Dinner with them. Ryan and I packed out car full of presents to give to all the kids. Of course, it was Husker gear 🙂 We also managed to wake up on Christmas morning just in time for the sunrise to go out and take some photos over the Sonoma county vineyards. After that we drove out to Sonoma Raceway, too bad a race was not happening that same weekend! I am sure that it is on Ryan’s bucket list! Here is the first of many posts of our Christmas Road Trip adventure!
The next adventure is the Husker Bowl Game in San Fransisco. Stayed tuned for all of the “GO BIG RED” chants 🙂
