This final post about our Honeymoon adventure is all about the sunsets in Rarotonga. They are undeniably beautiful, every single night. While you are scrolling through the photos, I have one more adventure that we did do on the Island. We took a Quad Tour and drove four-wheelers through the mountains. They took us up to a place that the residents would go if there was a hurricane, part of the inner most island. It was a change of scenery and was a lot of fun driving through rocks and water.
On the final afternoon, Ryan went over to Coco Putt to watch one more game of the Royals and I had a massage, laid on the beach and read a book. Ok, So maybe I fell asleep instead! Our last night at Edgewater we went up the road to the Spaghetti House Restaurant. This was the BEST lasagna I have ever had. We had a few drinks with some friends we made that also purchased the Groupon and went to bed!
The final morning we woke up really early to go experience the Rugby World Cup 2015. It was the New Zealand All Blacks vs Australian Wallabies. This was one of the coolest things to be a part of at Coco Putt. Everyone was cheering like we do for the Super Bowl and drinking at 5am. Of course the All Blacks won and I actually enjoyed watching Rugby! Our flight did not leave until that evening, so we got everything packed up and hung out at the resort with the others. One guy went deep sea fishing and caught a Tuna, so we all ate together for supper. I had a Chicken Pot Pie. I forgot to mention that Edgewater had some of the best breakfast. I always had a porridge and Ryan loved the Papaw Juice.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the sunsets at Rarotonga. Enjoy!
This was our Groupon Group. We always meet them for breakfast and supper!
We flew back from Rarotonga and landed in LAX the following morning. It was a long flight back home because I just couldn’t fall asleep! I was thankful to sleep in our own bed! Here is what we came home to! Our neighbors were pretty awesome to watch Bailey for us. They surprised us with balloons all over the house!
This Honeymoon was one of the best adventures that I have been blessed to experience. I am so thankful to have spent it with my Husband. We love traveling and travel so well together. I would recommend all of the places and things that we did to anyone looking to go to Australia, New Zealand, and Rarotonga. It was perfect! Thanks for reading everyone : )
