I can’t believe that the day has finally come. My cousin is married! June 15th was their special day and it was absolutely perfect. I can’t believe that I was able to share in such a special day. Crystal had every little detail planned out for her Shabby Chic, Elegant Rustic Wedding in York, NE. We went dress shopping (twice!), picked out the perfect veils, celebrated the bride-to-be, and laughed and cried over the details. All of this matters in the planning process, but when the day comes, there is only one thing that matters. And that is that Troy and Crystal are married and get to share their love everyday for the rest of their lives. Thank you for having me be a part of your day!
I was a bridesmaid in her wedding, and was honored to be the photographer also. I had a great team with me. My husband, Ryan, my best friend and second shooter, Maxine and my amazing friend, Shandie! Crystal and Troy shared their first look outside of the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in York, NE. It rained that morning, so we had the perfect cloud coverage! Also a huge thank you to their backyard neighbor for letting us use their amazing brick sidewalk! Everything was just so perfect, I am still beaming about the few minutes they shared together. You can just feel the love they have for each other.
As a Nebraska Wedding Photographer, this was the perfect wedding color combination for her shabby chic wedding. The colors popped against the beautiful succulent bouquets and grey tuxes. We had the perfect weather for outdoor photos!
The reception was held at the Holthus Convention Center. Crystal and Troy had each table decorated perfectly, but the head table was my favorite! I loved the three rings in the back and the Love sign to dance in front of!
One last big congratulations to the New Mr. and Mrs. Gulbrandson! Your day was so perfect!! I wish you both many years of happiness, laughter and love!!
