Saturday, September 1st was a day of new beginnings. Rachel and John were starting their life together as the newest Mr. and Mrs and Scott Frost was supposed to have his first game as the Husker head coach. Rachel got ready in Fremont, NE at the La James International College with the help of her bridal party. Next we traveled to the Fairfield Inn and Suites to put on her beautiful, delicate Allure wedding dress. This champagne and ivory colored dress had the perfect amount of beading and tulle to truly make a bride feel so beautiful! Take a look at a few of the fun details Rachel planned out!
Rachel drove from Fremont to Arlington, to have their first look. This little field at the Washington County Fairgrounds was the most perfect spot on a cloudy day. The rain held off and John got to see his bride for the first time in the most beautiful Allure wedding dress! We did a few family portraits and bridal party photos and then took Ollie the Trolley to the Ceremony!
We were worried about the rain all day long. Hoping and praying it would stay away until after the ceremony! Our prayers were answered and we got the hot summer sun throughout the ceremony! Riverwest Park in Elkhorn, Ne was such a beautiful ceremony location. The arches, the runner and the flowers were the perfect small touch to their river front ceremony!
The Washington County fairgrounds was a perfect wedding venue for Rachel and John. They had beautiful burgundy and grey tablecloths with roses in water for centerpieces. Rachel had so many memories of her grandparents throughout this day. First, a bracelet she was wearing, next the photos of her grandpa at the reception and then the cake topper was her grandmothers as well! As a Nebraska Wedding Photographer, these little touches mean so much to me. I love it when brides really make their day filled with personal touches.
Unlike Scott Frost first game (it was cancelled, due to the weather!), the rain stayed clear for John and Rachel’s wedding. They were even ready to watch and celebrate the Husker win! Instead the dance party went on and was one of the most fun that I have been to and so many laughs and hugs were shared. I truly wish nothing but the best for this newly married couple and can’t wait to see what their next adventure will be! Maybe a another puppy, just like Hiccup 🙂
