I wanted a way to keep track of the books that I have read in 2023 and a way to maybe keep my goal of 12 books this year in check! I will update this post as I go!
1. Christmas at Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan
I have read the first two in this series a few years back and loved this, this one was no different! Super easy read and a cute story line! There is one more in this series so I will be starting that one soon. I finished this while traveling to Mexico, Great plane book!
2. Paper Hearts by Courtney Walsh
This book was the perfect Mexico read. Sitting by the pool, drinking a passionfruit mojito and taking in the sun was was our days consisted of. I started and finished this in a few days, I just needed to know how it finished!
3. Jesus in the Vineyard by Pamela Hill Sharp
I was gifted this book by a good friend of mine who used to work with me at Capitol View Winery and Vineyards. The author did a great job talking Jesus in the viticultural process, God’s Love for us and how to enjoy a a good glass of wine!
4. Sunrise by the Sea by Jenny Colgan
This was the 4th book in the Little Beach Street Bakery series. It was a very delightful and easy read!
5. Dog Friendly by Victoria Schade
This book was such a fun read for the summer. I enjoy many nights on my back deck with my own dogs! It also had a super cute ending!
6. Authentic Living by Candace Cameron Bure
I have read of the devotions by Candace Cameron Bure and highly recommend them, especially if you want something that is easy to understand. This is a great one for someone just getting into their faith!
7. The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis
This book was one of my favorites that I read this summer! It was a great book to start getting into some Historic Fiction style of books that I have learned I really enjoy. If you love a little bit of a mystery then this is the book for you!
8. The Little House by the Sea by Tracy Rees
Wonderful little story set up in a little village by the coast. These types of settings have become some of my favorite reads! A little love story mixed with learning to live on your own!
9. Holiday Lights by Debbie Macomber
I took this book with me to Phoenix in December while we were visiting some friends! It was a very easy read. This book has 3 little books included, all a bit different. All about love stories and as you can see by the words on my photo, it was not at Christmas Time as expected!
10. The Good and Beautiful Bible Study by Alabaster
My friend Shandie and did this Bible Study this year. It taught us so much about God’s love and purpose. We highly recommend this for yourself or a group of people.
11. Homestead Living
This is a magazine that was so fun to read. The stories were all so different and not always geared for someone who has a big homestead. I took this with us when we went on our road trip to the Tetons, Yellowstone and Zion this summer!
12. The View from the Lighthouse by Melody Carlson
Series: Miracles of Marble Cove #1
My friend Maxine and I found this adorable bookstore in Aurora, NE and she came across this Miracles of Marble Cove Series. It has 24 books in the series and are written by multiple authors. The storylines though out the book are very easy to relate to and they are super easy to read. This is a Christian based series about 4 women who became friends in Marble Cove. The Lighthouse in the town is a bit mysterious and throughout the series we learn how it has impacted so many people. In 2024, I have continued this series and hope to fully finish it!
Thanks for reading along with me this year!
