My husband loves anything that is weather related. When he heard that a meteor shower was going to happen, he wanted to try and capture that. So we go out in the middle of the night to an open field at his cousins house and were able to capture a few photos. I am still learning out to capture photos of the beautiful starry nights, but here is a sneak. I am sad to say that I did not capture any meteors in these photos, but I was able to capture the beautiful city lights. One of our friends takes some amazing landscape and wildlife photography. He was also out this night taking some starry night photos. I do believe, he did capture a meteor in his photos. If you want to check out some of his work, click here! Soon I will be having a few blog posts on our storm chasing experiences. The photos from that are amazing! Weather is a mysterious thing and I love that I have a husband that is interested in learning about it. Someday, he will be taking these beautiful photos also! But for now, enjoy the starry night skies!
