The last post and this one are a little mixed up, but this one is all about my 2nd favorite day on this honeymoon.  We got up early and walked to try and find this French Market that we heard so many good things about.  We walked up and down the steep hills and all we were able to find was a breakfast spot that had the best apple turnover.  We then walked down to catch our ferry to go over to Waiheke Island.  We meet up with our tour guide feom the Taste of Waiheke Tour.  It was the perfect weather and we had a great tour guide.  This day was wonderful and relaxing.  Take a look 🙂

Our first stop was StoneyRidge Vineyard.  We had a light lunch of a Chicken and Spinach Frittata, salad and a cheese tray with some wine tastings.

The third stop was Wild on Waiheke.  This was a place that had both wine and beer.  It was a great place to take your entire family.  They had Archery and clay shooting for activities.  Our final destination took a little bit to drive to so we were able to see some of the ocean and different sights.

Our final stop was Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant.  This was my favorite because of the views.  It was on the top of the hill and you ad 360 degree views.  It was AMAZING!!

We had the option to either stay on Waiheke Island or head back to Auckland.  We decided to stay and eat supper at Vino Vino Restaurant and Bar.  We picked a table so we could see the ocean.  Below was our view.  It was perfect.  I had a pasta dish and Ryan had a steak.  Near the restaurant there was a beach entrance so we walked down there to put our feet in the water and then headed back to the hotel.  We got some amazing photos of the Auckland skyline at sunset on our way back.
