We got to celebrate Jaxon’s first birthday in February. I was so excited when they said they wanted to do a studio cake smash session for Jaxon. It was the best! He has the best smile and laugh and absolutely LOVED his cake! I loved getting to shop for a few new backgrounds and thought that this fit the little boy’s one year old birthday photos perfectly. We got some blue balloons and accented with an orange chair (which hardly ever comes out of my prop closet!) Mom and dad did a great job making him smile and laugh! Take a look 🙂
I just love a studio cake smash! Especially when the kid LOVES the cake. As you can see in these photos, that is exactly how he feels about cake or should I say frosting. He was in heaven! You just never know how a kids is going to react to the cake. Some love it and some hate it. Most of the kids that I have had, love it 🙂 Just see how much!
I love it when I get to see clients again. I met this family in the fall when we took their family photos. Jaxon’s grandma and I are friends from the wedding world, as she is a fabulous florist. It was so fun meeting all of their family and I loved getting to work with them again! Jaxon was a charmer during that session and he was the same for this one as well! I hope to see you guys again! I am sure Jaxon is just getting so big and is really starting to have his personality shine through!
