Abbi and Gabe shared their wedding day on July 6, 2019 with their closest friends and family.  They had a beautiful ceremony in Geneva and their reception at the York Country Club.  The weather in Nebraska has been all over the map, but this day was absolutely perfect.  It had great cloud coverage and was in the high 70’s.  Abbi and Gabe shared their first look in Geneva at Heritage Crossings. I have never shot in this area, and am so glad they asked to use this spot.  It was great!  Take a look 🙂

Oh and don’t forget to watch for Gabe’s reaction.  It was the first time we met, and I knew instantly how much he loves her!

Abbi was such a beautiful bride.  She held her shoulders high in the most delicate, tank lace dress and simple veil.  She had the most perfect smokey brown eye and hair pulled back besides a few curls.  She held her soft pink and ivory bouquet with greenery by her side while smiling at her soon-to-be husband.  This was one of the best moments to see in all of my weddings.

Gabe had a fitted grey tux with an ivory tie and boutonniere.  He lovingly looks at her, holds her softly in his arms while we take photos.  They share smiles and then laughter.  It is hopefully a moment they never forget!

After their simple, and meaningful ceremony at the Geneva Evangelical Free Church we headed up to the York Country Club and were able to use hole one for a few bridal party photos.  The groomsmen wore the grey tuxes and a purple tie and the bridesmaids were in a dusty pink dress that had lace on the back to match Abbi’s dress.  I had such a fun time with this group and loved the size of it.  Abbi had her sisters stand by her and Gabe had his best friends.  After the bridal party photos we did some more portraits of Abbi and Gabe and then had the kids come out of the golf course and did a few family photos!

As a Nebraska Wedding Photographer, I loved shooting at the York Country Club.  The big windows were perfect for the the dance floor photos, the food was so good and Abbi and Gabe (and their families) did a beautiful job decorating the reception hall.  A perfect amount of flowers, gold lanterns, candles and chocolates could be found at every table.  The cake was made by OMG Cakes and Treats.  This was some of the BEST cake that I have had all year at weddings!!

As my coverage ended, they danced the night away.  It was a wedding that I didn’t want to end. I truly loved capturing the moments of Abbi and Gabe’s wedding day.  Everyone was so relaxed, the day went so smoothly and I couldn’t have wished for a better day for these two and their families.  I want to wish Abbi and Gabe many more years of happiness!!  Congratulations again!!
