I met Erin close to seven or eight years ago while working at David’s Bridal. Little did we know, we put our two weeks in on the same day and have become great friends ever since. Over the past few years, life has given us the ups and downs but she always stayed so positive and kept moving forward even when it was most difficult. Fast forward to late 2018, when she had told me Lonny proposed to her and asked the kids to be a family. I was so happy for them and couldn’t wait to help her start planning out her day.
Erin told me she wanted the most simple wedding and to have it truly be about the things and people that have been there for them always. They had the most beautiful intimate winter wedding that was perfect for their family. They started the day getting ready at a loft over looking the Haymarket, had their first look, and took a few photos at the train station. Erin and Lonny were surround by their kids and close friends while getting ready and met up with family for the ceremony. Take a look 🙂
As a part of their intimate winter wedding, they had their ceremony on the 14th floor of the State Captiol. A small group of friends and family were there to witness the vows said to each other and their kids, the tears, and the laughter. Erin’s boys walked her down the isle, they wrote their own vows, and sealed the marriage with a kiss. It was my favorite part of the day. If you have read this far – YOU GUYS, THIS IS WHAT THE WEDDING DAY IS ABOUT!!! Your promises to each other for the rest of your lives, not the flowers, the dress, the invites or the cake. Erin and Lonny reminded me of this and I couldn’t be more thankful for that!
Congratulations to Erin and Lonny and your family! I can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you. As long as you have each other, I know that you will share so many happy moments and days full of laughter! Thanks for your friendship and having me capture these special moments for you! Love your guys to pieces!!
