Photo Native 2017 was a changing force in my business last year. It made me work harder and smarter to achieve goals that I have had for awhile. I took a few different classes while there, but two of them have stuck with me still to this day.
The first one, which I have photos to show you is from Abbey Kyhl’s posing class. This was a breakout session that was additional from the actual conference. She taught us how she was able to get so many different images from the same/similar pose. You don’t have to move your client around all the time to get different variations of posing. I am learning what my style is and what attracts my clients to me. When posing my clients, I use a little bit of what I learned in Abbey’s class along with what I learned from the supper I went to also!
The supper that I went to was with India Earl. I was mind blown with how much knowledge she has and how she works with her clients. I also have incorporated a little bit of that into my shoots as well. The fun, laughter, movement photos are more her style. I personally love getting both. As a bride a few years ago myself, I loved the nice romantic looking photos, but still wish we had a few of the fun/laughter photos – because that describes our relationship.
Here are a few photos from Abbey Kyhl’s posing class from Photo Native that I was able to capture!
This past year I have been taking a few other classes about posing and lighting and can’t wait to implement what I have learned. 2018 couples, we are going to have a great time!!
Stacy these are Fabulous. Nicely done !!
