Erica and Vantha were married on a beautiful summer’s day. I was so blessed that Shandie with Stewart Photography asked me to second shoot this wedding. Erica and Vantha got ready at the Prairie Creek Inn in Walton, NE. Erica’s bridesmaids surrounded her with laughter and smiles all morning long. The Prairie Creek Inn was the perfect place to get ready at with all of the antique details of the house and her accessories. Her lace dress was my personal favorite 🙂
Vantha was so excited and nervous to see his bride-to-be. I couldn’t blame him, she was stunning! To be a part of this first look was such a blessing. It will truly be one I will never forget. The way he looks at her, is the way that every woman wants to be looked by her husband.
Erica, Vantha and their bridal party took a trolley to their ceremony location, a beautiful church in Waverly. As a Nebraska Wedding Photographer, I love traveling to new places to shoot. After the ceremony, we took the bridal party to an old area with grain bins for their photos. This was the perfect spot for their high energy group!
Erica and Vantha had their reception at One Thousand Dodge in Omaha, Nebraska. This was my first time shooting here and I loved everything about it. They had decorated a beautiful welcome table with their engagement photos on it and a typed out note on an antique typewriter. Each table had a beautiful coaster for each guest to take home with them. The day was planned our perfectly, including the music. Each song got more and more people on the dance floor and it even made Shandie and I dance with them! I can’t wait for more weddings like this 🙂
