I am going to start off by saying that this blog post should have been done last year when these photos were taken!  But, since I am still “getting caught up,” I figured I would still blog about it!  A goal this year was to keep up to date on my blogs!  I would say, I am getting better 🙂

Anyway, back to this handsome 9 year olds (almost 10) photos!  I am always excited to take my cousins photos each year because it is crazy to see how much has changed in a year.  They way the look, act, and even present themselves in front of the camera.  Not to mention the difference between my photography skills also!  Evan is so used to being in front of the camera, he could be a professional model!  Take a look!  2015-08-29_00192015-08-29_00152015-08-29_00132015-08-29_00162015-08-29_0012

I still can’t believe that his is already 9!  It is so crazy to me 🙂  It took him just a bit to get excited to take some photos but once we started, he did great!  We even were able to walk around in the water since it was such a beautiful summer day.  As a Nebraska portrait photographer it is important to find nice and quiet locations.  This one is just that! I love coming out here because it is usually so peaceful!

The beach, the sun, the weather… absolutely a perfect evening for this shoot! I could not be happier with how these turned out!

2015-08-29_00092015-08-29_00012015-08-29_0002Evan is a cousin that I keep pretty close to my heart.  I literally grew up with him when I was going to college.  Tamara and I have become great friends after living with them through my college summers.  I love having family so close that I can count on.  I enjoy getting to their school activities and just hanging out playing ball or watching a movie.  I really can’t believe that Evan is a 9 year old already and that his sister is already a teenager!  Life goes so fast, there are days that I wish it would slow down!  This last photo of the sunset is a photo I captured on my home from the shoot.  Life is so precious, remember that 🙂
