On the first day of the Photography Awesomesauce Conference we learned about posing and SEO. That afternoon we had a Glamour portrait session at the studio. This is one of the first times that I was able to work in a studio that had a lots of natural light. It was the perfect set up. Mary was our first model. She got her hair and makeup done and looked STUNNING!! She did a wonderful job, considering there was bout 25 of us pointing our cameras at her at a time. The portraits of Mary really show off her tattoos. She absolutely rocked them and they each meant something different to her. This is a beautiful lady who is comfortable in her skin. I love photographing people like this 🙂 
Towards the end of this glamour session, Mary was drinking a little wine, dancing to our 90’s music and laughing. I would say that it can be very intimidating being in front of 25 ladies pointing black cameras at you. Mary was the best model! She had such a great time and we all loved laughing with her every minute! 
Jen is the next model. She woke up crazy early to do a sunrise session with us in Downtown Denver. Jen is such a genuine person. It was a great time getting to hang out with her as the sun came up. Seriously – isn’t she a natural beauty! 
This day was such a fun day filled with lots of learning. Lots of friendships were made and some continued to grow from last year. In the next post you will get to see some of these beauties that are behind the lens and their portraits!
