Shaundee and Nate planned a small, beautiful outdoor wedding on Friday, July 13th at her Grandpa’s Sandpit near Geneva, NE. Both Nate and their son Atley were born on Friday the 13th, so this date was the perfect date to choose! Shaundee and Nate are just to cute together. They have two adorable kids, Addi and Atley. I was so excited when Shaundee had emailed me asking about wedding photography. We went to middle school and high school together, so this was so fun for me to capture this special day for them!
Jackie came to their house to do the girl’s hair in the morning, while Atley helped Nate get ready in the basement. Shaundee’s mom had a very special pearl necklace that Shaundee’s dad gave to her. This will be be passed down to Addi when she gets married. Her dad also got to help her put it on. Shaundee chose a beautiful, strapless lace dress with a diamond belt and white flip flops. Take a look at how perfect it was for their outdoor wedding.
We rode up to the ceremony site in dune buggies and witnessed an intimate, outdoor wedding, officiated by their fathers. It was a perfect, cloudy day, full of laughter, smiles and love to go around. After the ceremony, we all went back to the Graham residence to celebrate with Dr. B’s band and BBQ. The reception was full of friends and family and even a special surprise for the Bride and Groom! They ended their night at the county fair with a bull ride!
